Paula Soper is a multidisciplinary expressionist artist working in pastel, oil, watercolor, gouache, acrylic, charcoal, fiber arts, and ceramics. Her paintings blend bold mark-making with a sensitivity to atmosphere and mood.

With 10 years of studio and plein-air painting practice and 15 years of experience in both fiber arts and ceramics, Paula's work explores light, color, texture, and form across paintings, original art quilts, and functional and sculptural pottery.

Paula is an Associate Member of the Oil Painters of America and the Pastel Society of America. Her work has been shown in galleries from Idaho to Cape Cod, including the Cape Cod Museum of Art.

Studio Potter | 15 Years of Practice

Create functional and sculptural ceramic work using wheel throwing, hand-building, and slip-casting techniques. Experienced in surface design, glaze formulation and application, kiln preparation, and a range of decorative glazing and finishing methods.
